“My son has always been enthusiastic about working with Ms. Coan. I have nothing but good things to say about Ms. Coan. She is caring, patient, thorough, supportive, and a highly dedicated and diligent teacher.

Reading and writing have been a struggle for my son since second grade due to ADD and Learning Disabilities. Ms. Coan makes sure to take extra time [and care] to explain to him by breaking down material into bite sized chunks, which makes it manageable.

Ms. Coan goes above and beyond to support her students to ensure that they fully comprehend and build confidence.

Due to my son’s learning profile, Ms. Coan taught him several strategies to overcome and improve his difficulties in the areas of inferring, paraphrasing, identification of the main idea, as well as within writing.
